Salvatore Tripodi, docente di italiano e storia in pensione, è autore di numerose pubblicazioni sulla dispersione scolastica e sull'intercultura. Negli anni Ottanta e Novanta ha contribuito all'ideazione e alla realizzazione del progetto "Provaci ancora, Sam!" Contro la dispersione scolastica a Torino. Ha pubblicato recentemente !Storia di un giornale sindacale. La Cgil scuola di Torino! (2011) e "Manuale di lingua italiana per cittadini stranieri" (2008). Collabora da molti anni con l'Associazione "Terra del fuoco" di Torino al progetto "Il Treno della memoria".
